On Friday July 20th 2019 Kasra’s Essential Mix was aired on BBC Radio 1.
It was a real honour to be asked to contribute to the Essential Mix series, and I wanted to do the opportunity justice by putting together a mix that represents what is important to me about this music. Over the 2 hours there’s the tunes that got me into DNB, some of my favourite Critical classics from across the years as well as a lot of what makes up my DJ sets in 2019, which includes alot of unreleased music! I’m excited to hear what people think, to me its an honest snapshot of exciting underground drum and bass in 2019. Kasra
